How exciting it was to be a guest on Travel Talk Radio, where I got to share many experiences and discoveries on my recent media trips to Yellowstone Country in Montana and Door County, Wisconsin.
Host and fellow travel writer Mira Temkin and I discussed why fall is such a great time to travel to these diverse destinations and where to stay. We also talked a lot about food: huckleberries, lake perch and fish boil in particular. Just so you know, a bison jam is not something you put on toast. It’s a traffic backup in Yellowstone National Park caused when bison are meandering near the roadside, and everyone stops to take pictures.
