Element Bozeman: A Sleek Hotel for Long or Short Mountain Stays

Element Bozeman is a new contemporary hotel two blocks off bustling Main Street action. With its high technology and well-equipped kitchenettes, you’re sure to feel at home, whether for a couple of nights or for an extended stay in Montana’s Yellowstone Country.  Add to that the complimentary daily hot breakfast and evening wine-and-beer reception during the week–and what’s not to love?

The street-level lobby is spacious and airy, with separate areas for dining, lounging, watching television or browsing the internet. The daily morning breakfast includes a yogurt bar and made-to-order eggs. There’s also an indoor swimming pool, fitness center with cardio- and strength-training equipment, and a patio with grill for guests to use. Wi-fi is complimentary throughout the premises. If you’d like to pedal your way through Bozeman’s downtown or nearby mountain trails, grab a bicycle at the front door and go.

During a recent media trip sponsored by Yellowstone Country Montana I stayed in Room 226 of the five-story hotel. A standard king guestroom, it sported a decor of minimalism for maximum comfort: espresso plank flooring, soft tweedy rug beneath the king bed, retro reading chair and ottoman, desk with data ports and ergonomic chair, and flat-screen television. The bed was wonderfully soft but supportive, clad in white linens and a pillow menu.

The kitchenette was equipped with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee station, sink and high-gloss cabinetry–along with dishes, utensils and condiments. Even dishwashing soap and towels.

The oversized bath was designed with many of my favorite appointments, especially the back-lit vanity mirror and a rainfall showerhead.
