Life is a journey. Live it well. Swissôtel Chicago shows you how to revitalize body, mind and soul with the launch of its new Vitality Suite. It’s a serene and stylish sanctuary lavished with bespoke wellness features–plus stunning views of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan.

The Vitality Suite is an ultra-exclusive lodging choice for discriminating travelers. Swissôtel Chicago is the first property in North America to introduce the suite and the third Swissôtel worldwide.
The Vitality Suite, which I recently had the opportunity to tour, spans five rooms and over 1,700 square feet. It’s located on the 40th floor of the downtown hotel, which was designed by renowned Chicago architect Harry Weese, just footsteps from the city’s Magnificent Mile.

The floor plan comprises a bedroom, dining room, lounge, office and bath, all tastefully decorated in a peaceful palette of white, gray and turquoise. Among the elements that define and promote wellness are dedicated spaces for exercise and relaxation, blackout window blinds, and an a la carte pillow menu.
The Wellbeing Wall is actually a fitness room equipped with gym equipment, a Peloton bike, water rower and video screens with exercise programs on demand. You’ll have a productive, personalized workout with complete privacy.

Adjacent to the Wellbeing Wall is an oversized spa-like bath with water features you can customize to soothe or invigorate. The vanity is generously stocked with thick white towels and Pürovel organic toiletries formulated from Swiss botanicals

For rehydration and replenishment, the Vitality Suite’s refreshment center and wet bar offer energizing snacks and drinks including an infused water station, all made with fresh fruits and superfoods, and often with a local twist.
A special seasonal menu, exclusive to the suite, was created by the hotel’s Executive Chef Dan McGee. One recent offering was turmeric grilled chicken with shaved apple, mango chutney and cilantro quinoa.

Since its inception in 1980, Swissôtel Hotels and Resorts has become one of the most recognizable Swiss brands in the world.
